The IOSH Working Safely course is an introduction to work place health and safety for workers within any industry sector. The course is not intended to make workers into health and safety experts, but to given them a firm grounding in the essentials of health and safety in the workplace.

The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health claim the position of Europe's leading body for health and safety professionals. They are an independent and not-for-profit organisation, aiming to regulate and steer the profession, maintaining standards and providing impartial, authoritative guidance on health and safety issues.
